Life Around The Corner

Choosing Life and Operating Happiness

An Ode

In strangers I found hope
In strangers I found kindness
In strangers I found listening
In strangers I found understanding.
I found support and acceptance,

Nothing strange about that.

In friends I found strangers.
In acquaintances I found dangers.
I found the hawk’s black eye
Starring at my third eye
And I mind, they
Can’t see me

But you can.

I love this so much. Isn’t it funny how you can meet someone brand new and feel safer than those you have always known.
