My heart hums when you are around.
Like a silent waves’ sound,
Gently playing in the background.
“I love you” I sing like a sparrow.
When you’re away
My heart cries from sorrow.
My melody’s cheer when you are near.
I chant a ballad to my dear,
It’s my Opera’s grand premier.
“I love you” I sing like a sparrow.
Then my voice ceased
You split my throat with an arrow.
My tune is off key like a broken fife.
I cried out so long to be your wife,
Maybe I’ll sing for you in the afterlife.
