Life Around The Corner

Choosing Life and Operating Happiness

Love Hexagon

Love is my first answer
To any question that may be asked,
Like an all purpose cleaner.

•••

Love is always the answer
But what are the questions being asked?
I am perplexed by riddles.

•••

Love is my answer but
I am not the one asking questions.
My solution fails to please.

•••

Love is always my answer,
And by my sole critique I deliver
It in an inadequate manner.

•••

Love is always my answer
Yet I speak in a foreign language,
It falls on deaf ears.

•••

Love is the answer yet
I will not provide splendid solutions to
The one tossing them aground.

  1. Beautiful and empowering, dear Tut. The language of love is universal, and need no explanation, for it is a feeling and visceral experience. This is a gorgeous write. 💞🙏

    • Yes exactly. I tried writing a Haiku, and alone each seemed like an incomplete picture, so I decided to put them together to tell a short story. Thank you!!

      • From google- “Haiku is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan. Traditional Japanese haiku consist of three phrases that contain a kireji, or “cutting word”, 17 on in a 5, 7, 5 pattern, and a kigo, or seasonal reference. Similar poems that do not adhere to these rules are generally classified as senryū.”
I don’t usually try traditional things but I wanted to try 😊 I actually don’t think I succeeded in a traditional one lol

      • Thanks for this information.
There’s a poetry challenge going on, are you interested?
I know you don’t like to write for a cause but to express yourself.
But that challenge will help you grow even further
