I want what I want,
I am who I am.
No one can tell me
What I can’t and what I can.
People’s misconceptions
Had me bury my head in the sand.
I can’t bare living
By someone else’s command.
Who is “a friend”?
And what are “pure intentions”?
To know what is “best” in life
I don’t need your interventions.
Tap, tap, tapped your doubts
Into my head,
It made me feel dead.
I can’t believe I let it spread.
I reached new levels of tension.
It took more than isolation
To transfer to a new dimension,
Focus on self-invention.
I can start my ascension,
Give myself much needed attention.
I will not be misled.
I make my own bed, I lead myself ahead.

I’m happy that you are too my friend! I’m actually working on a piece that’s going to talk about that because I feel like the best part of all of this is going from feeling jealous of other people’s successes to feeling absolute joy and happiness when I hear about somebody doing well. I get especially happy when I hear about people that have started down the road of living an authentic life, true to who they are. So know that I am so happy for you! And hopefully I’ll get that piece done and be able to post it sometime this week.
