I miss something I never had,
A feeling I never had,
A love I never had.
I feel this elusive lacking in my heart, I know something is missing.
We call for God, we call for men, we pray they fill our incomplete parts,
But we don’t know what is missing.
I feel the absence of settlement in my heart and I don’t know what it is that will ever
Settle me.
At times I am one with nature and I feel it for a slight second,
The completeness my heart seeks
Infused with tremendous solitude.
This is my natural, serene state.
The sound of the sea is the most calming and lonely, strong and caressing, well balanced, reflection of my inside.
